Synopsis
At just a year old, Nshiyiminana Jean Claude lost his father and most of his siblings. The Rwandan Genocide of 1994 ripped apart his family and left his mother to live with HIV. Due to the chaos of reconstruction and the lack of available healthcare, Claude’s mother passed away of AIDS leaving Claude orphaned and HIV positive. The film shares Claude’s struggles to grow up homeless and stigmatized, as well as his journey to find strength through a supportive community and yoga.​​​​​​​
